Footprints in the Sand
is my absolute favorite poem! This poem means that God is always with you no
matter how hard or bad you think your life is. He will never leave you to
handle the world alone. When i see this poem it makes me think of my
grandmother. This was her favorite poem too. When she was here she would quote
this poem a lot when I would talk to her about certain things. I didn’t really
understand this poem until after she passed away. When she passed I felt
horrible. I felt like my world was coming to an end. It was so sudden and unexpected.
This for me was the lowest point in my life. I have never lost someone that I
was so close too, and I just couldn’t stop crying. The night before the funeral
I was crying so badly and I started felt an overwhelming feeling of comfort. It
was as if someone was hugging me or something. It kind of scared me a little
but the feeling quickly went away. When the feeling left I started thinking
about Footprints in the Sand, and
that is when I discovered the real meaning of this poem. Not a day goes by that
I don’t think about her but this poem makes me feel so much better. Rest in paradise grandma I love you. You may
be gone but never forgotten.

Well today is thursday, and the last day of school for the week. Tomorrow i plan on going to the Relay For Life. The Relay For Life is the main volunteer-driven cancer fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Around 7 oclock the will be a moment of scilence for all those who have lost their lives to cancer. During the moment of scilence the survivors of cancer will take a walk around the track holding tourches. This event will be pretty emotional for many people. But don't get me wrong it is really fun and entertaining. It will be held at the Sports Complex in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. There will be lots of food, games and music. Don't be the only one sitting home bord come out and enjoy the fun.

It's Moday Again
Well today is Monday. I'm sure you already know that. But
here I am sitting in class thinking about how much I hate Mondays! I had such a
hard time getting up this morning, and I am having a horrible time finding
something to smile about. It's just so hard for me to come back from the
weekend and get my week started. So try to make the best out of this dreadful
Monday. Btw no school Friday!

Unisex Bathrooms
A school in Oregon recently opened unisex bathrooms. They
took six student bathrooms and two staff bathrooms and turned them into unisex
bathrooms, outfitting them with locks on the inside and "unisex"
signs on the door. This was put in to action for transgender students who could
not decide which bathroom to go to. Transgender students admitted to saying
that they avoid drinking through the day so they don’t have to go through the
anxiety of having to choose a bathroom. Out of the 1600 students in the school
there are only about 10 transgender students. This accommodation has made their
school day much easier. Whats your opinion on unisex bathrooms at your school?
